Yes: Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump on Wednesday morning.
That is the problem. See that is the big problem right here: Hillary did not break the proverbial glass ceiling after you had predicted she would win the Presidential election in the USA on November 8. As the leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Nigeria TB Joshua had prophesied she would win.
“Ten days ago, I saw the new president of America with a narrow win. The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues, including: passing bills, attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new president. The boat of the new president will be rocked. By the way, in order not to keep you in suspense, what I frankly saw is a woman,” the post said.
Is there a problem with this false prophecy from a revered man of the cloth? Of course there is Pastor: 2.5 million of your faithful followers on Facebook read that post. And millions of other people read the post as well. Is there a problem when your YouTube Channel has amassed an incredible 300 million views? Yes there is; for should people have blind faith in the messages you post there?
See you are the man The Africa Report and New African Magazine named as one of the 50 most influential people in Africa. See what you have done now? The reputations of these once-noble magazines have taken a much-devastating fall along with yours in the past three days.
See I could not believe it when I read that you had made a prediction on the outcome of the election in the first place. But what I found harder to fathom is the post vanished after the winds of change you had forecast would swirl over Washington did not materialise and then it made a miraculous return after a short while.
Is there a problem when you find it hard to stand by the things you say you have seen in your visions?
Yes there is Pastor Joshua. See religion is built on the divine faith of millions of worshippers whose belief in the supernatural is so incredibly valuable Forbes Magazine estimates you are rich; super rich, that is.
So rich for a humble servant of God you are Nigeria’s third-richest Pastor and have an estimated fortune of US$15 million.
Is there a problem here? I suspect not Pastor Joshua. Seeing that millions of people have faith in you and generously support the religious empire you have built so magnificently I am reminded of another prophet: Moses. When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt he and his people camped in the Sinai dessert. There, Moses went up a mountain to speak to God.
The Lord said to him: “You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. Now then, if you will obey My voice and keep My agreement, you will belong to Me from among all nations. For all the earth is Mine. You will be to Me a nation of religious leaders, a holy nation.’ These are the words you will speak to the people of Israel.”
See God speaks to you. Like Moses, God expects you to be a religious leader for the people: a man of His word and yours as well I believe. So can you in His name tell us about your dream? Was it a dream Pastor Joshua that inspired you to say the election would go the way of Hillary Clinton?
Because if it was a dream that you clearly had: how on earth did you get the result of the election wrong for the sake of Christ the Lord? Hillary Clinton is short. Donald Trump is a tall man and probably not the cross-dressing type of billionaire either.
So tell us: Did you actually see President Hillary Rodham Clinton handling state business in Washington? Because if you did see her in the White House then I have to ask you this Pastor Joshua: Can you categorically say there is going to be a sequel to this Clinton-Trump saga between now and Friday, January 20, 2017 when the 45th President of the USA is scheduled to be inaugurated?
Perhaps you can look into the future and see if President-elect Donald Trump will have a change of heart in some way and head back to Manhattan to play golf and spend his billions on Melania?
See he might yet lose the election on the basis it was rigged by the KGB in Russia or Julian Assange and WikiLeaks or some James Bond-like conspiracy might surface and rescue the Hillary Clinton campaign.
So Pastor Joshua: Can you see this happening for sure? Can you see Hillary Clinton breaking through that glass ceiling in December? Would this not be the perfect Christmas present for Bill and Hillary Clinton: another eight comfy years in the White House?
So I have to ask you: can the Lord above do something? Marty McFly, a character in Back to the Future, goes back all the way to 1955 to make sure his mother and father fall in love and get married.
It takes a crazy scientist called Emmett Lathrop "Doc" Brown and dollops of faith to take him there: but once he does, the whole world, it seems, thanks him for he saves the day for his parents.
Pastor Joshua: God asked you to tell His people about a Hillary Clinton victory. He might have asked Thomas Dexter "T. D." Jakes, Sr., an African-American pastor, author and filmmaker and bishop of The Potter's House, a Nondenominational American mega church, to deliver this vital message, but he did not. He chose you. He might have asked another American Pastor: Eddie Long, the Senior Pastor at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, a mega church in Georgia to let the world know Hillary Rodham Clinton will become the anointed one. But no, he chose you for reasons best known to Him.
See this is it. Donald Trump is busy attending to his presidential-elect responsibilities and posing for photographs alongside Barrack Obama. So here is my plea: I know you do not have a mad scientist to help you go back into the future; I know this is not a movie made in Hollywood or Nollywood or some make believe scenario with a happy ending.
This is the business of life Pastor Joshua. This is the earthly kingdom where the hopes and dreams of millions precariously hinge upon reaping the rewards of their uninhibited faith in the Lord above.
Think about this Pastor Joshua; Matthew 15:14 reads: “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”
